Job summary

ABS Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a home- and clinic-based setting. We offer entry-level opportunities with on-the-job training and pathways to RBT certification.

Both new and experienced candidates are welcome, with 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday shifts available. Earn $18.00–$24.00 per hour, with bonuses for RBT certification and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs - on resume or application.
• A heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play and engage with clients.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child through play and ABA therapy.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help develop essential life skills such as daily living and personal care.
• Support mobility and put effort into transitions and floor activities.

Job Requirements

$1,000 bonus for current RBTs. We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs. Must have availability 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
