Job summary

ABS Kids in Greensboro, NC is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians to support children with autism using ABA methods. No experience? We'll train you on the job. A $1,000 bonus is available for current RBTs, with on-site shifts from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Earn $18.00–$24.00 per hour, with opportunities for RBT certification paid by the company, mileage reimbursement, and benefits including 401(k) with match and paid time off based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids.
• Calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.

Job Requirements

$1,000 bonus for current RBTs.

We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs.

Must have availability 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
