Strides ABA in Monsey, NY is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data, and delivering engaging, data-driven sessions for children with developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will hold an RBT credential, be 18+, and have a strong commitment to ethical and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA principles or willingness to learn through trainings provided.
• RBT must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds due to mobility assistance needs.
• Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community and in-home services.
• Clean background check required for working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care.
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client.

Position Overview:

Strides ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician RBTto provide in-home, or daycare-based therapy for children with developmental disabilities. As a Registered behavior Technician RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In this role, the Registered Behavior Technician RBTwill implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client’s quality of life. The Registered Behavior Technician RBTis key to delivering structured therapy and ensuring consistent progress. Our ideal Registered Behavior Technician RBT will collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential.
