Job summary

Cardinal Pediatric Therapies is seeking a Behavior Technician to support ABA therapy for children in clinic, home, school, or community settings. You will work one-on-one, using play and structured activities to develop communication, behavior, social, and daily living skills under a licensed supervisor.

The role includes coaching toward RBT certification. Structured training, supervision, and feedback are provided, with an expectation to obtain RBT certification within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Commitment to obtain RBT certification within 60 days is expected.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain prior to start is required.
• TB test completed within the past 12 months is required.
• Must be able to pass criminal background and abuse registry checks.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations is required.
• Ability to work directly with children for multiple hours per day is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in clinic, home, school, or community settings.
• Use engaging, age-appropriate activities to support skill development.
• Encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement and consistency.
• Collect session data and complete simple documentation.
• Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with your care team.
• Participate in required training, supervision, and feedback.
