Job summary

Butterfly Effects in Georgia is seeking a Behavior Technician or RBT for in-home ABA services. This part-time role focuses on helping children develop communication, social skills, and daily living abilities under BCBA direction.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, may already hold RBT certification, and must own a Tablet or Laptop for sessions. transportation and a caregiving mindset are essential as sessions occur in families' homes.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress and daily behavior.
• Manages challenging behaviors and applies behavioral principles consistently.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills as needed.
• Communicates professionally with parents and the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data in the online database accurately and timely.
• Participates in ongoing training to increase skills.
• Maintains client confidentiality and follows BE policies.

Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

In home services: weekdays 3-7pm

What Would You Be Doing?

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
