Butterfly Effects is seeking a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home ABA services in Roswell, GA. Part-time hours (3–7pm on weekdays) offer flexible scheduling to support families and children with autism.

The role involves implementing plans under BCBA supervision, recording progress, and helping clients develop communication, social, and self-care skills. A high school diploma and RBT certification (if available) are preferred; a tablet/laptop is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children is advantageous.

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

What Would You Be Doing?

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
