Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey in Edison, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to provide ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics, under BCBA supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, availability afternoons/evenings/weekends, reliable transportation with a valid license, and the ability to pass background checks and driving record review. Paid training and clear career advancement paths are offered, including the ABA Academy to prep for the RBT exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years old and have 1 year of experience working with children or in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track progress and maintain data quality
• Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
