Job summary

Galliant in Oklahoma is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism in a clinic setting. Starting pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour with raises every six months and clear growth opportunities.

You don’t need ABA experience to start; 100% paid RBT training and testing costs are covered within eight weeks. The daytime schedule runs 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with no overnights or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Background in caregiving, healthcare support, or related fields is helpful but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the clinic daily.
• Ability to stay active and physically engaged with children.
• Commitment to safety and following clinic protocols.

Responsibilities

• Run one-on-one procedures to reduce challenging behaviors and improve daily living skills.
• Document session data and write objective progress notes.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and clinic team to support client goals.

What to Expect:

As a Behavior Technician working one-on-one with children with Autism in a supportive clinic setting, you will:

• Run individualized procedures designed to reduce challenging behaviors, enhance functional daily living skills, and improve functional communication.
• Support the acceptance of neurodiversity, provide compassionate, assent-based care, and truly prioritize the wants and needs of your clients.
• Use a tablet to collect session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes.

Who You Are:

• All Backgrounds Welcomed: Great for candidates transitioning out of school district roles (LPS paraprofessionals/aides), daycare centers, state care services, DSP/CNA caregiving, medical assisting, retail, or hospitality looking for stable daytime clinical hours (prior experience in these fields is welcomed, but not required!).
• The Mindset: You are reliable, compassionate, high-energy, and thrive in active environments where you can see the positive impact of your work every day.
• Education & Prerequisites: High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from the clinic daily.
• Physical Stamina: Ready to stay active! You must be able to sit, stand, transition quickly, bend, kneel, crouch, and move or run quickly when necessary to engage at a child's level and maintain strict safety protocols.
