Job summary

ABS Kids in California is seeking compassionate team members to support children with autism through ABA therapy in one-on-one sessions at client homes and our center. You will use play, patience, and data collection to teach real-life skills while documenting progress and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

No experience? No problem—on-the-job training, RBT certification support, and flexible schedules are offered, with bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Calm, steady presence with eagerness to play.
• Tech savviness and ability to learn data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
