Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, executing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; you don't need prior experience. You should be capable of standing, walking, lifting, and moving to assist children, with a focus on safety and positive

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test within last year.
• Pass background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from floor or chair many times throughout the day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed for interaction and safety.
