Job summary

FirstSteps for Kids, Inc. in California seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with autism and related learning differences. You will work with teachers, parents, and BCBAs to implement intervention plans and help children reach milestones.

You will become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with fees covered by FirstSteps as part of our paid training program. Starting wage is $23–$25 per hour, with potential wage increases throughout the year and a collaborative,

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required or pursuing psychology/behavioral health/child development interests.
• Graduate students in ABA may apply and receive clinical training hours.
• Willingness to obtain RBT credentialing with FirstSteps support.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with learning and communication goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, BCBAs, and health professionals.
• Support during training and credentialing processes.
