Job summary

FirstSteps For Kids, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to help young children learn to communicate, play, and build independence. You will work one-on-one with children, guiding small but meaningful wins today and fostering growth for the future.

Qualifications

• Patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy working with kids.
• Experience with children through work, school, or volunteering is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle + insurance.
• Comfortable getting on the floor to play and moving quickly when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to build communication and play skills.
• Help develop daily living skills and independence in sessions.
• Attend training and pursue RBT certification as provided.

Behavior Technician | $23–25/hr + Paid RBT CertificationHelp young children with autism learn to communicate, play, and build independence. No experience needed, we train you and pay for your certification.

At FirstSteps for Kids, you'll work one-on-one with young children, building the communication, play, and everyday-life skills that help them succeed at home, in school, and in their community. You'll see the small wins up close: a first word, a first friendship, a child doing something today they couldn't do last week.
