Behavior Technicians provide direct support to children and families while implementing individualized treatment goals under the direction of the clinical team. Through evidence‑based ABA interventions, technicians help clients develop communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills while supporting reductions in behaviors that may interfere with learning, safety, or independence.

Services are primarily provided in client homes and community‑based settings according to each client’s individual treatment needs. Most sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with scheduling flexibility based on client needs and employee availability.

Pay Range: $20–$27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for bilingual Spanish‑speaking applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Behavior Technicians are an essential part of the client’s treatment team. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized, one‑on‑one ABA services to children.
  • Implementing treatment programs and behavior intervention strategies developed by the supervising clinical team.
  • Teaching communication, social, self‑help, and daily living skills.
  • Applying evidence‑based ABA strategies to promote learning, independence, and skill development.
  • Supporting the reduction of behaviors that may interfere with safety, learning, or daily functioning.
  • Collecting accurate client data throughout each session.
  • Completing required session documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicating effectively with supervising BCBAs and other members of the treatment team.
  • Developing positive and professional relationships with clients and their families.
  • Following all clinical, ethical, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Adjusting to individual client needs while maintaining consistency with established treatment plans.

Applicants with education, coursework, or experience in psychology, education, human services, child development, social services, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
