As a Behavior Technician, you will directly support children as they develop essential communication, social, adaptive, and everyday living skills. You will implement evidence‑based ABA strategies to promote skill development, encourage greater independence, and address behaviors that may interfere with learning, safety, or daily functioning.

Individuals with coursework, degrees, or experience in psychology, education, human services, child development, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

In addition to competitive hourly compensation, Ad Astra offers flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and a supportive work environment designed to encourage professional development and growth within the field of ABA.

  • Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.
  • Occasionally, lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.

  • Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.
  • Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
