Job summary

Step Forward ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children in home settings, using evidence-based ABA techniques to promote independence and social skills. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with families and analysts to tailor interventions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a National Criminal Background check.
• RBT Certification preferred; complete certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using ABA techniques to promote independence and social skills.
• Teach communication and functioning skills.
• Implement and monitor behavior plans, adjust strategies as needed.
• Restructure environments to support positive outcomes.
• Collect data and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with analysts, families, and peers to coordinate activities and advocate for needs.
• Complete daily progress notes and maintain records.
