Step Forward ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA techniques to promote independence, communication, and personal growth.

The role requires completing a background check, travel to in-home settings, and the pursuit of RBT certification (preferred). The position offers a competitive hourly wage, benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a National Background check.
• RBT Certification preferred; certification process to be completed within 30 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for in-home settings.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA techniques to promote independence, social skills, and personal growth.
• Implement and facilitate behavior plans, monitor outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collect data and maintain accurate records of progress and observations.
• Communicate with families, behavior analysts, and peers to coordinate activities and advocate for individual needs.
• Complete daily progress notes and maintain a tidy, safe workspace.
