Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Culver City seeks a Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism and related developmental differences. You will work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings under the guidance of BCBA supervisors.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, helping clients build communication and social skills, recording progress, and creating engaging learning environments. Travel between client locations may be required with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments
