Role:

Behavioral Technician

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays or behavioral health challenges.
• Assist clients in developing social and communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document progress and milestones.
• Implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or at least one year of experience working with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Key Duties

• Assist clients in developing social and communication skills.
• Follow and execute behavior intervention plans.
• Accurately document client progress.
