Job summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary DISTRICTWIDE SERVICES is hiring a Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral challenges using ABA techniques and training. The role includes direct instruction, monitoring, and collaboration with instructional staff. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00? a.m.

– 3:00 p.m. with benefits including health, sick leave, vacation, and holidays. Required include RBT certification within the first year, CPI and CPR certifications, and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification.
• Prior job-related experience with Applied Behavior Analysis working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders.
• Must maintain or obtain RBT certification within first year; CPI and CPR certifications maintained by the District.

Job Description

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is in the foothills about 50 miles northeast of San Diego, California.

TheBehavior Technicianwill:

• Provide support, monitoring, direct instruction, and training using applied behavior analysis techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem-solving for students with behavioralchallenges.
• Provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• WORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday, 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week - 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
