Job Description

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.

The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner:

• Assist students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide general support in a non-judgmental, non-reactive manner.
• Assist instructional personnel with the development and presentation of a variety of instructional materials and instructional exercises.
• Assist students in a group, or an individual basis, with specific instructional tasks or specific student goals for the purpose of accommodating their development and growth.
• Assist with data collection and assessments for student IEP goals and behavior support services.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Employee Calendar
• WORK SITE: San Onofre School (San Clemente)
• WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 3.92 hours/day, 5 days/week, Work hours will vary
• BENEFITS: Benefit package includes paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).

• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification provided by the district.
• Maintain CPR and first aid certification as provided by the District.
• Within the probationary period, paraprofessionals will be expected to participate in District-wide training/supervision and receive a District Certificate of Competence.
