Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one settings. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and comfortable with movement and physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a team to support children's progress and safety.
