Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to help children and adults with autism and related developmental differences build communication, social, and daily living skills. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings while receiving support and guidance from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have RBT License or BCAT
• Plus one of the following: College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field
• OR: At least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments
