Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking entry-level behavior technicians to work 1:1 with children who have autism or developmental delays. Roles include delivering structured play-based sessions in the child’s home, clinic, or school, typically 2–3 hours per session, with caseloads matched to your availability and comfort level.

We value compassionate, patient individuals who can communicate with families and collaborate with a BCBA/BCBA-D.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 6 months of employment.
• Bilingual or Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through structured, play-based activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA/BCaBA professionals.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
