Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children in home and community settings, following guidance from BCBAs to implement treatment plans and support skill development.

Responsibilities include recording progress, building communication and social skills, and creating structured learning environments, with mileage reimbursement and paid training. Travel between client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field OR one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field

One year of related experience as a Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist / paraprofessional
