Job summary

Coyne & Associates in Irvine, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to work in home-based sessions with children aged 1–12 who have developmental delays or autism. You’ll deliver hands-on ABA, implement plans, track progress, and learn under seasoned BCBA supervision.

Required: 60 college units with 6 months experience or a related degree with 6 months, or 60 units and 1 year supervised experience. A California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance are needed.

Qualifications

• 60 college units and 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR
• 60 college units (including 12 units in a related field such as Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children.
• At least 6 months of experience with developmental delays (all ages)
• You’re ages 21+ and have a car with a license and insurance to match.
• You have or are willing to obtain a California Driver's License (or are active military/military dependent), you're insured on an auto insurance policy, and you have a reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Play 1:1 with kids ages 1-12 with developmental delays/autism in homes.
• Take notes like a boss – track progress, celebrate wins, and capture details that make sessions meaningful.
• Coach caregivers so ABA strategies are used in daily moments.
