Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and support families. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.

Position involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving through various positions. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, with opportunities for growth within the Centria Autism team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support children and families, and participate in onboarding and training.
