Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in La Fontaine, IN is seeking a Behavior Technician/DSP to participate in and lead the development of individualized plans and implement behavior support plans. Paid training to obtain required certifications (RBT not required).

The role supports individuals with disabilities and mental illness across home and community settings. Shifts include 3p–11p, four days on and two days off.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience working with clients with high behaviors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead development of individualized plans and BSPs across environments.
• Implement behavior support and reinforcement plans consistently as written.
• Provide positive behavioral supports and reinforcement for appropriate behaviors.
• Respond to emergencies per Mandt training and ensure a positive environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with daily living tasks as needed.
