Job summary

Modern Support Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support clients with developmental disabilities. You will implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs, collect data, and collaborate with families and supervisors.

This in-person role offers day shifts with both full-time and part-time options, and a pay range of $28.00-$32.00 per hour. A high school diploma and CA driver's license are required.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or equivalent to join our team. In this role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and provide direct, two-on-one or one-on-one support to clients. This position does not include Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the client's Individual Program Plan (IPP) and Supported Living Services Assessment
• Collect accurate and consistent data on client progress and behavior
• Maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients and their families
• Communicate observations and progress updates to your supervisor
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Participate in team meetings and required training sessions

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or related conditions preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to implement behavioral strategies consistently and effectively

Eligibility and Application Requirements

• Be 21+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Have reliable transportation and a valid CA Driver's License
• Must pass a background check
• Previous experience in human services is a plus
