Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is hiring for a part-time Behavior Technician role. You will provide services primarily in clients' homes, with some sessions at local centers. No certification required initially, but training to become certified will be provided.

Candidates need 6+ months of experience with kids, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks. You will earn $21–$28 per hour with daily pay access and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• High School Diploma or GED completed, and at least one college course or enrollment.
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance.
• Able to pass background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, pre-employment exam, and immunities.
• Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Help kids learn through play with activities that build communication and social skills.
• Be a positive role model by encouraging progress and celebrating small victories.
• Stay active during sessions by moving, playing, and engaging with children.
• Keep sessions organized by tracking activities and progress.
• Support families and work as part of a team to show real progress.

Job description

No certification required! Just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.).

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours)
• Hours: Availability required all weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $21-$28/hr

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• You can pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding, which we will pay for.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope.
