Job summary

Autism Learning Partners in San Diego seeks caring individuals to become certified Behavior Technicians. This part-time role is up to 20 hours weekly with Monday–Friday 3:30pm–8pm; most sessions are in clients’ homes, with some in local centers. You’ll be paid $22.50–$28.00 per hour (ABA experience); Spanish speakers earn +$0.50/hr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus at least one college course.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer) preferred.
• Ability to pass background and health checks.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.

• Be a Positive Role Model: Encourage progress and celebrate small victories.
• Stay Active: Move, play and engage during sessions.

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours)
• Hours: Availability required all weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $22.50-$28.00/hr (depending on ABA experience)

Bonus:

Spanish speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos
