Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is seeking a caring part-time Behavior Technician to support children and teens with autism. You will travel to clients’ homes, with some sessions at local centers, to deliver techniques that promote communication, social skills, and positive behavior. Training is provided and daily pay access is available.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–8pm, up to 20 hours weekly. {Health, dental, vision} benefits may apply based on hours; mileage reimbursement and drive time are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed and college coursework or enrollment.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance.
• Willingness to pass background and health checks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• A big heart, patience, and energy to keep up with kiddos.

Responsibilities

• Help kids learn through play, teaching skills via games and activities.
• Be a positive role model, celebrating small victories daily.
• Stay active by moving, playing, and engaging during sessions.
• Keep things organized and track progress; training provided.
• Support families and work with a team to show real progress.

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours)
• Hours: Availability required all weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $20-$25/hr

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos
