Autism Learning Partners in California is seeking compassionate caregivers to support children and teens with autism. No certification required, just 6+ months of experience with kids and reliable transportation. Roles include in-home sessions (with some center visits) and flexible hours in the afternoon or full daytime slots.

Competenze

• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer—babysitting counts)
• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, immunities to MMR/VZV during onboarding
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently

No certification required! Just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.).

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours) & Full-Time
• Hours: Availability required 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm OR All weekdays Monday - Friday from 8am to 6:30pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $22-$29/hr.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• You can pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding, which we will pay for.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

• Help Kids Learn Through Play: Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions — often through fun games or activities.
• Be a Positive Role Model: Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
• Stay Active: You’ll be moving around, playing, and engaging throughout your sessions.
• Keep Things Organized: Track what you worked on and how your kiddo did (we’ll train you on this too).
• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope.
