Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in New Jersey is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide 1-1 ABA treatment in a center-based setting for children from birth to 21 years old. You will work with BCBAs to implement treatment plans and collect progress data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Experience providing support to children with behavioral challenges or developmental delays preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or developmental disabilities is preferred; training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation to commute to work locations.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other parties.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions (moving, lifting 25+ pounds, etc.).
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
