Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide 1-1 treatment in a center-based setting, working under BCBA supervision. Roles include data collection and parent training support, with a focus on children aged 2–15.

The position offers paid training, potential for guaranteed hours, and competitive compensation in a collaborative team environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with 3pm–7pm or 4pm–7pm shifts in a NJ center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation to commute to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA and company policies.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the treatment plan and report results.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families and supervisors.
• Physically assist with activities; move with children aged 2-15 during sessions.
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
