Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education in Vallejo, CA seeks Registered Behavior Technicians for school-based roles for the 2026-2027 year. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect data, and support students during the school day.

We offer mentoring, weekly clinical support from a BCBA, career growth, and a benefits package; driving is required, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Associate’s Degree preferred in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
• ABA experience required; 6 months minimum, 1 year preferred.
• Ability to work with students in-person.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

SPG Therapy & Education is currently hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for school-based positions for the 2026-2027 school year.

SPG is dedicated to providing all employees with a unique mentoring program and maintaining strong, collaborative client relationships.

Salary: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour (starting at $25 for BTs), depending on experience and education

Requirements:

• RBT Certification preferred
• Required to obtain RBT certification within 90 days of employment
• Associate’s Degree preferred in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or licensed SLP-A, or related field
• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience, 6 months required, 1 year (preferred)
• Completion of 40 hours Registered Behavior Technician Training (may be provided by SPG, if needed)
• Ability to work with students in-person
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus!
• Driving is a key requirement for this position to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role.
• As such, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance may be required, particularly in situations where alternate modes of transportation are either unavailable or not deemed reasonable.
