Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support students in Rio Rancho, NM. This full-time role focuses on implementing ABA-based strategies, tracking progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster student growth inside and outside the classroom.

Applicants should have 40-hour behavioral training or 6 months of ABA experience, NM PED license, Level 3 EA certification, and at least 8 months of autism experience.

Qualifications

• 40-hour behavioral training or 6 months of ABA experience.
• NMPED License is required.
• Level 3 EA Certification required.
• 8 months of autism experience required; severe/aggressive behaviors experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans and data collection.
• Support students using ABA-based strategies in classroom and alternative settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and support staff to promote student growth.
