Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide compassionate ABA services to children with ASD across in-home, school, and center settings.

You will begin as a BT while you train toward RBT certification, with flexible full- or part-time schedules (Mon–Fri options available), mileage reimbursement, and a supportive team focused on growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willing to complete RBT training including 40 hours of online coursework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ABA therapy to individuals with ASD in home, school, or center settings.
• Collect data and monitor progress per ABA protocols.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to customize behavior plans.

A Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral therapy to autistic children and young adults using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). ABA is a scientific and evidence-based approach to understanding and modifying human behavior.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 18 years old
