Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Therapy is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum, serving families in New Jersey and Ohio across home, school, and our Beachwood and Columbus centers. As a Behavior Technician, you will begin as a BT and will train to become an RBT, with opportunities to earn more as you gain experience and certification.

• Experience working with children.
• Able to complete a free RBT training program with 40 hours of online coursework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.

• Provide direct ABA therapy to autistic children in home, school, or center settings.

A Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral therapy to autistic children and young adults using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). ABA is a scientific and evidence-based approach to understanding and modifying human behavior. Simply put, Behavior Technicians use ABA to changes lives!

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
