Kids Club ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our in-person team in Paterson, NJ. You will implement ABA-based behavior plans designed by BCBA supervisors to help children improve social, communication, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on progress.
• Assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
• Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions based on ABA principles.

Job Summary

Your role will involve implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients improve their social, communication, and daily living skills.

• The Behavior Technician (BT) will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA.
• The Behavior Technician (BT) will implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress.
• The Behavior Technician (BT) will assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment and behavior plans
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies
• Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions
• Conduct structured teaching sessions based on the principles of ABA

Experience

• The Behavior Technician (BT) requires prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• The Behavior Technician (BT) will need the ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices
