Job summary

Kids Club ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) in New Jersey to work with children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will implement BCBA-designed behavior plans and help clients improve social, communication, and daily living skills in an in-person setting.

Responsibilities include one-on-one ABA therapy, data collection, and collaboration with families to ensure consistency in strategies. OTA supervision and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents.
  • Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.

Behavior Technician (BT)
Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team at Kids Club ABA - VA. As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work with individuals, particularly children, with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. Your role will involve implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help clients improve their social, communication, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data on client progress
  • Assist in developing and maintaining individualized treatment and behavior plans
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and social interactions
  • Conduct structured teaching sessions based on the principles of ABA
Experience:
  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
  • Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices
