Job summary

Astra ABA is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to join our team in Madison, NC. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home settings and implement BIPs under BCBA supervision.

You will use ABA techniques like positive reinforcement, shaping, and NET to support communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic skills. Daily data collection and HIPAA-compliant documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting.
• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and NET.

Responsibilities

• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.

Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30

Behavior Technician (BT) Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting.

• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under

BCBA supervision.

• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural

environment teaching (NET).

• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and

academic domains.

• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-

day SOAP notes.

• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team

members.

• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
