Job summary

Astra ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home, leveraging proven ABA methods under BCBA supervision. This role emphasizes data collection, treatment fidelity, and collaboration with families and BCBAs in a supportive home-based setting.

Evening hours are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:00–8:00 PM to accommodate families while ensuring high-quality care and adherence to HIPAA and BACB guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting.
• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET).
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
