Advanced Behavioral Therapy (ABT) offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum in New Jersey and Ohio, with services in homes, schools and ELCs. We invite you to join as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and begin training toward your RBT certification while earning.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with later afternoon hours and in-home assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Advanced Behavioral Therapy (ABT) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum in Ohio and New Jersey. We offer services in homes, schools and ELCs.

A Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral therapy to autistic children and young adults using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). ABA is a scientific and evidence-based approach to understanding and modifying human behavior. Simply put, Behavior Technicians use ABA to changes lives!

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• At least 18 years old

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

• Ability to pass a background check

Required Skills:

• Experience working with children

• Willing and able to complete a free RBT training program, including 40 hours of self-paced online coursework

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team

• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
