ABA Centers of New Jersey is seeking Behavior Technicians (BT) to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics, under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on teaching communication, social, and daily living skills and tracking progress with accurate data.

Starting rates are $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and education. Paid training and mentorship support advancement toward BCBA certification are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.
• BT: 40-hour paid training over 2 weeks, then precepting and RBT exam within 45 days.
• RBT: Active certification; 1 week paid training + precepting.
• Training availability: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Prior exposure to ABA services.

Responsabilités

• Direct Client Support.
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality; document session data.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Collaborate with team members and families.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
