Job summary

Pops ABA in Verona, NJ is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to implement individualized ABA programs under a BCBA supervision. You will deliver one-on-one instruction, collect progress data, and help clients acquire functional life skills in homes, schools, and community settings.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA techniques, including DTT and naturalistic teaching strategies.
Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools.
Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across domains including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
