Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy in Nutley, NJ is seeking dedicated individuals to join as a Behavior Technician (RBT). You will work closely with a BCBA to implement individualized behavior plans, teach essential life skills, and provide evidence-based ABA interventions across home, school, and community settings.

You will collect data, monitor progress, and adapt strategies to support clients’ goals. Training and ongoing support are provided to promote professional growth and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or other settings.
• Commitment to ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality.
• Compassionate, patient and driven to support individuals' potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA.
• Provide direct, one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Help clients acquire functional skills in communication, socialization, self-care and independence.
• Create a supportive environment that promotes engagement, motivation and autonomy.
• Work with BCBA and team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate with clients, families and team members with progress updates.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance ABA skills.
