Job summary

United Care ABA-New York is seeking Behavior Technicians to build a second career in ABA or transition fully into the field. You’ll receive hands-on training, guided support toward RBT certification, and regular clinical supervision from experienced BCBAs.

This role offers full-time and part-time options, with in-home and center-based work. Pay starts at $20–$23 per hour, with potential increases after certification and performance.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pursue RBT certification within first months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; psychology coursework is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Dependability and ability to follow clinical guidance.
• Long-term interest in growing within ABA.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized ABA therapy.
• Follow treatment plans and interventions designed to improve communication, behavior, and daily living skills.
• Accurately record session data and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Build strong, consistent relationships with clients and families.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and complete required training.
