Job summary

Coyne & Associates is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work in-home with children aged 1–12 who have developmental delays, including autism. You will conduct engaging 1:1 sessions, document progress, and support families in applying ABA strategies at home.

We value hands-on training and offer paid training time, flexible hours, and opportunities for growth within a compassionate, supportive team in California. Own vehicle and driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 60 college units and 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR
• 60 college units (including 12 units in related field) and 6 months experience with children, OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and 6 months of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home one-to-one sessions with children aged 1–12 with developmental delays/autism.
• Take detailed progress notes and track session data to inform planning.
• Coach caregivers to apply ABA strategies in daily routines.

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

• 60 college units and 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR
• 60 college units (including 12 units in a related field such as Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children, OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children.
• At least 6 months of experience with developmental delays (all ages)
• You’re ages 21+(our insurance says so) and have a car with a license and insurance to match.
• You have or are willing to obtain a California Driver's License (or are active military/military dependent), you're insured on an auto insurance policy, and you have a reliable vehicle
