About the Role

With one in 36 children diagnosed with autism, this entry-level job is in big demand. As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and develop communication, socialization, and self-help skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.

Position Details

• Part-time Behavior Technicians in the area.
• Work with kids aged 2-22 with autism and special needs in homes, schools, or centers.
• Starting pay at $20/hr with experience, with potential for RBT certification eligibility.
• Potential for promotion within three months and professional development opportunities.

Requirements and Preferences

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Reliable transportation preferred (valid driver’s license and vehicle).
• Availability to work part-time, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 7:30 pm, including Saturdays.
• Meet minimum age of 18, eligibility to work in the U.S., pass background check.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish, or background in psychology, education, or related fields, and experience with children are pluses.

Physical and Other Considerations

Physical activity may include pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, sitting on the floor, and moving quickly as needed.
