Job summary

Sun and Sage ABA in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA support to children with autism, under supervision of a BCBA. This part-time role emphasizes respectful, data-driven sessions and HIPAA-compliant documentation.

You may be an experienced RBT or come from ABA or childcare, and we offer paid training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth, with morning hours (9am–11am) on weekdays.

Qualifications

• RBT certification encouraged; ABA/childcare experience welcomed.
• Good communication and organization; patient and empathetic.
• Must be available mornings 9am-11am on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Implement personalized ABA treatment plans with clients.
• Collect data to track progress and adjust sessions.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and teammates.
• Provide engaging, safe 1:1 sessions in Santa Fe, NM.

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience and certification status)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM - 11AM, additional hours may be available, including the option to work up to full-time

We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Behavior Technician to work in Santa Fe, NM! You'll provide 1:1 support to children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), guided by a supervising BCBA.

Whether you're an experienced RBT or have a background in ABA or childcare and are ready to get certified—we'll support you every step of the way with paid training, mentorship, and a caring team environment.

What You'll Do:

• Work directly with clients to implement personalized ABA treatment plans
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support communication and daily living skills
• Collect data to track progress and celebrate success
• Provide engaging and safe sessions in a supportive environment
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and teammates
• Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA

What We're Looking For:

• Certified RBTs highly encouraged to apply
• ABA or childcare experience also welcomed (training pay available while becoming certified)
• Strong communication and organization skills

• Comfortable working weekday mornings 9am-11am
